Ethereal Jax is a professional beauty company with a primary focus on Wedding Makeup and Hair. It was created in 2018 by Hillary Scrogins, after many years perfecting her craft as a Makeup Artist and Esthetician. The mission of Ethereal Jax is to make every client feel confident in their own unique beauty.

I'm so glad you've found your way here! I'd love to tell you a little about myself and how I came to creating this company.
I developed an interest in artistry very young, and constantly had the need to put pencil to paper. I mean, I drew on everything; my clothes, my shoes, my skin, you name it. Eventually, the pencil and paper turned into a fluffy brush and a face. Looking back, I can clearly recall being the little girl who took makeovers with my friends far more seriously, and my love for it only grew as I got older. I'd stay up late perfecting my makeup and I became the friend everyone went to when they needed theirs done for new MySpace photos. When I realized I could build a career out of this, I threw myself into every relevant opportunity I could find. Between earning my Facial Specialist license in 2011 and the creation of Ethereal Jax in 2018, I developed my skills working with local artists, Sephora, MAC, and made over anyone that would sit in my chair.

​When I started this company, the goal was to use my passion to support myself and cultivate a career I could be excited about. I now have a studio in the beautiful neighborhood of San Marco, and I frequently work on-location all over North Florida (and beyond!). As this has grown, Ethereal Jax has been able to offer hair services by other talented stylists, including one of my closest friends, Eadon Fore. We happened to meet while working on a wedding and have continued to work closely ever since. She's been a knockout bridal hair stylist for over a decade, and if you book us for makeup and hair, you'll likely get to experience our humorous banter - we've been told we're an entertaining duo!
