Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?

We’re based in Jacksonville, Florida.

How far do you travel?

As far as you need us! Some travel is provided complimentary, then we apply an hourly rate based on round-trip distance per artist. Locations outside a certain proximity may require additional accommodations based on time frame.

Are you available for early morning events?

Yes! We can be wherever you need us, whenever. For start times earlier than 7am, we charge an additional fee of $85 per hour, per artist.

How do I book?
We require a signed contract and 50% of your total cost as a retainer payment to secure your date. We’ll need to gather a few details to create your agreement, then once the contract and initial payment are complete, you'll officially be on our calendar! If you haven't finalized your details just yet, not a problem. We'll secure your date with the information available and add the necessary details as your event comes together.

Will you hold my date if I'm not ready to book yet?

Due to the volume of inquiries we receive year-round, we can't hold any dates without a contract in place. The spring and fall seasons are especially busy for us, so we highly encourage you to secure your date as soon as possible if your event falls within that time frame.

Can we pay on the day of?

No, all services must be paid in full no later than one week prior to your event. We only allow exceptions for services added on the day of, if time allows after all originally contracted services are complete, and at the artist's discretion.

Can my bridal party/someone else pay you separately?

No, to keep things streamlined, we only accept payment from the bride or contracted client.

Do you charge less if I only want my eyes or face done?

We prefer to do full services to ensure a cohesive result and strive to create a look you can feel confident in. For this reason, we do not offer lower priced partial services. You may still opt for a partial service at full price if you desire.

Do I have to book a trial for my wedding?

No, we work with many brides who forgo a trial for their own reasons. However, we encourage booking a trial as it gives us a chance to go over your vision before the big day, allows us to get to know your hair and skin so we can ensure the best results, and gives you peace of mind since you’ll know what to expect.

Can I bring a friend or my children to my trial?

It’s always more fun with a friend, so you're welcome to bring one additional guest. We request that you don't bring young children though, as our studio space is small and it poses a safety risk.

Can I bring extensions?

Absolutely! We can apply extensions for an additional $30 per set. They must be 100% human hair in order for us to style them.

Can I bring my own products?

We take a lot of pride in stocking our kits with tried and true products that we know deliver fantastic results, so we prefer to work from our kits. If you'd rather we use your items, they must be brand new, unopened, and in original packaging for us to use. Keep in mind, we can't predict how your products will work with ours, or if they'll last through your event.

What if I have allergies?

We want to eliminate the risk of irritation and reactions as best as possible, so we ask that you disclose any sensitivities or allergies you or your party may have well in advance so we can appropriately prepare for your event. â€‹

How should I prepare myself for my service?

For makeup, we ask that you have zero makeup on and clean, moisturized skin. For hair, it must be clean (washed in the last 24 hours), and 100% dry. We don't offer blow drying and can't style hair that is even slightly damp. Arriving with leftover makeup or dirty/wet hair will most likely extend your service time and accrue overtime fees.

Will my hair style better if it’s a little dirty?

This was true once upon a time, but hair products have evolved to work wonders! Dirty hair is actually more difficult to style because we have to work against your natural oils to create the hold and texture we need for a long-lasting style.

I have naturally curly hair, should I do anything to it before my service?

We will assess your individual needs based on hair type and desired style, and let you know if any special prep is needed. Please do not add any products to your hair before your service unless specifically directed.

Should I do anything before you arrive?

Yes, we will need ample table space to set up our stations and easily accessible outlets. We also ask that if you have active, excitable animals, they be put away for the time being. We love pets but want to avoid any equipment being knocked over or injuries from tripping over fur babies.

How much time do you need for each person?

As a standard, we schedule one hour for each Special Event client or Bride, 45 minutes for each additional Wedding Party member, and additional buffer time at the end for any touch ups that may be needed. The time frame may be adjusted based on your individual needs.
